Enterprises willing to sell telecom equipment in Mexico are obliged to get a Type Approval Certificate from COFETEL, for every one of their products, before initiating their commercialization.

NOTE: COFETEL type approval process requires a technical document signed by a Certified Telecommunications Expert (Perito en Telecomunicaciones).
